Leonka's Roots

Born and raised in New Orleans, she was shaped by a culture where food brings people together, hospitality comes from the heart, and every recipe has a story. Those values became the foundation of a culinary career spanning more than 17 years across restaurants, catering, stadium operations, healthcare dining, hospitality leadership, high volume food service, and business ownership.

But the title Chef is only one part of her story. As a mother of four, Chef Leonka is deeply committed to passing down the values that have carried her through life: faith, family, resilience, hard work, generosity, entrepreneurship, and caring for others. She teaches her children that success is not simply about what you accomplish it is about how you treat people, what you build for the next generation, and the legacy you leave behind.

Eat NeauxLa was born from that purpose. It represents Chef Leonka’s New Orleans roots, her years of professional experience, her love for family, and her determination to create something her children can learn from, be proud of, and carry forward.
